Job Title: Video Editor - Content Creative

Job Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

The Video Editor, Content Creative will play a critical role on the Social Creative and Content team. This role will work closely with Creative Project Leads to create high-quality video content for various brand projects – including but not limited to, social campaigns across key channels, brand videos, and broader video needs.

Projects will vary from tasks like building social-ready video assets from content creator-provided footage to light animation and motion graphics work using product-based photographs and imagery.

This role will join a multidisciplinary team of graphic designers, creative strategists, creative producers, and copywriters. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, deeply immersed in social and digital culture, highly organized, and comfortable working both independently and in a team. A successful candidate will tackle work with a sense of urgency, be detail-oriented, and focused on producing best-in-class work. Someone with a can-do attitude who is excited to brainstorm ideas and push for continuous improvement in brand social content is ideal.

Core Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the Social Creative team with video content for organic social and paid media channels.
  • Ingest, organize, and edit video content.
  • Partner closely with Creative Leads and Creative Producers to execute video needs for brand campaigns.
  • Develop and execute video concepts from start to finish, including versioning and final delivery for multiple platforms.
  • Enhance video best practices for content creator briefs to ensure footage delivery meets internal needs (specs, safe zones, file delivery, etc.).
  • Work with graphics packages and incorporate them into video content.
Requirements for Consideration:
  • 3+ years of experience in digital video editing within a marketing or advertising function.
  • Retail experience is required; beauty industry experience is a plus.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects, including video editing, motion graphics, and GIFs.
  • Deep knowledge of all social media platforms and the latest video trends.
  • Strong ability to drive innovation in technology and creative processes.
  • Excellent collaborator with strong listening and teamwork skills.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects).
  • Post-production experience, including:
    • Video editing
    • Light motion graphics (advanced knowledge is a plus)
    • Color correction
    • Sound design
    • Codecs and compression
    • Experience with remote workflows and studio-level file management (preferred)
    • Familiarity with social media standards and formats
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Media Arts, or a related field.
  • A passion for beauty products and consumer engagement is a plus.
