We are recruiting a full-time physician assistant at the faculty rank of Teaching Associate to join our total joint replacement service at the University of Washington Medical Center. The successful candidate is expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will be expected to have effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in the care of orthopaedic patients. Our physician assistants are responsible for providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The position is on an annual appointment with a 12-month service period (July 1 - June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. This position has a flexible start date in the spring or summer of 2024.
Salary:
The base salary range for this position will be: $10,000 - $12,084 per month ($120,000-145,008 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations.

Requirements:
1. Current and valid Washington State Physician Assistant License.
2. Graduate Degree from an accredited PA program. Nationally certified PA-C with DEA.
3. Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
DESIRED:
Experience in orthopaedic care preferred but we can train motivated and talented individuals.
