Superintendent (Road and Bridge Restoration)
Our Client has been repairing, restoring, protecting, maintaining, and strengthening concrete structures for over 40 years and has grown rapidly over the past several years. They are dedicated to our clients; they celebrate our wins, and they have fun while we do it!
They are looking for a Superintendent to join their quickly growing team. This candidate will be energetic, detail oriented and quickly able to switch gears. Their ideal candidate will enjoy working in an open environment with our fast-paced team and is excited about the opportunity to advance within the company.
What You Will Do As A Superintendent:
* Review drawings, specifications, and proposed project site conditions
* Work with office personnel to form creative solutions to project issues
* Maintain and support all internal safety, quality, and environmental standards and procedures
* Record time for equipment and staff
* Record and track daily quantities
* Lead weekly safety meetings
* Ensure projects stay on schedule
* Communication with office personnel for updates and projects
* Assign tasks to crew members and supervise crew's work
* Any other duties that may be asked of you
What You Will Bring to Us: As A Superintendent
* Must have Construction background.
* Must be computer literate and able to utilize Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and HCSS
* 3 Years as a Superintedent
* Must be able to read and understand specs, drawings, and proposals
* Must be familiar with CIP/ Precast structures that utilize falsework
* Must have previous experience working with repairing, restoring, protecting, maintaining, and strengthening concrete structures
* Must have experience with major public or private works projects
* Must be able to deal with quantity take-off and able to summarize using an Excel spreadsheet
* Must have good communication skills and be able to work well within a team
* 4 years technical degree preferred
* Travel is required
