Key Responsibilities: Machine Learning, AI, and Data Engineering Technical Leadership - Play a key role in the AI-enabled transformation of Medical engagement through personal and non-personal channels, and other high visibility projects that drive impact for patients and for J&J Innovative Medicine.
- Shaping, managing, and developing new AI, ML, and other Data Science initiatives across JJIM Commercial NA
- Act as the technical lead for machine learning, AI, and data engineering solutions and products within Commercial NA.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and peers across technology and business functions to define and develop new Machine Learning, AI, and Data Engineering Solutions and Operations.
Technical Responsibilities - Collaborate closely with commercial NA functions to rapidly prototype and integrate machine learning and AI models into technology products.
- Develop end-to-end AI/ML pipelines encompassing software engineering, data engineering, model development, and integration.
- Lead technical projects, taking end to end responsibility of AI/ML solutions.
Talent Development - Coordinate technical seminars, training sessions, and workshops focused on AI/ML to enhance the skills of data scientists, data engineers, and other technology professionals across the organization.
- Provide expertise and point of view on the value and efficiency of new capabilities and technologies to advance adoption of data sciences and engineering capabilities across innovative medicine.
Qualifications Required - Ph.D. with 2+ years of experience, M.S. with 5+ years, or BS with 7+ years of experience of building AI/ML solutions in healthcare industry
- Proven success in applying Data Science and ML engineering methods to solve Scientific and Medical Affairs problems.
- You are passionate about new technical advances in Artificial Intelligence and are excited to apply them to solve problems.
- Experience shaping and deploying generative AI models, including deep generative models, GANs, VAEs, or other related architectures
- Strong programming skills in Python, along with proficiency in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
- Experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results
- Experience across data engineering, software engineering and data science
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, multiple stakeholders, matrixed teams, and evolving needs
Other Details: - Up to 10% travel within the New Jersey & Pennsylvania sites as required.
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is between $113K to $170K USD.
