Job Description

Role : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) CWR
Shift : 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Full-time (3 x 12-hour shifts/week, weekends and holidays as needed)
Guarantee Hours : 36
Location : Neptune City, NJ 07753, USA
Contract Weeks : 13 Weeks
Unit : Respiratory Therapy Department (ICU, ED, Trauma)
Days : 3 days/week

Role Highlights:

• Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction for the treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies in the hospital.
• Perform Intubation assistance as well as Ventilator set-up & management.
• Gather necessary patient-specific information, including disease education and consultations with other healthcare professionals.
• Develop rapport and mutual respect with patients, caregivers, and team members to foster an optimum care environment.
• Provide and document education to patients/caregivers based on identified needs.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.

• Exceptional focus on teamwork and delivering the highest quality care.
• Experience in the Respiratory Therapy Department, including ICU, ED, and Trauma.

Education:

Required Education :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS – AHA.
• ACLS – AHA.
• PALS – AHA.
• Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license.
• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Languages:

• English (Speak, Read, Write)
