We are currently seeking a Platform Logistics Architect - Red Hat Linux to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure SME in planning, implementing, and maintaining enterprise hardware Infrastructure to join a team of Platform Logistics analysts.
- L3 systems admin experience, data center physical infrastructure knowledge, systems engineering and be familiar with application development.
- Detail oriented with a strong technology background as well as solid business analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
- Able to thrive in a global environment and be able to influence change.
- Make well defined technical decisions pertaining to technical deployment strategy in meeting the business needs. This individual must be able to make decisions with conviction.
- Exercise creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading edge technology and/or integrating diverse user systems.
- Lead team or individual presentations.
Basic Qualifications: 7+ years with the following:
- Distributed Infrastructure support, Infrastructure architecture or engineering
- Strategic thinking and leadership, with extremely strong abilities in relationship management.
- Analyze the financial aspects of technology
- Solid project management skills, effectively arranging resources and managing multiple small to large scale projects in a cross-functional environment.
- HPe and DELL x86 server product lines
- Understand system requirements and develop a technology infrastructure bill of materials / parts list to meet those requirements
- Linux, Windows, VMware system administration / engineering
- Evaluating performance data, capacity planning and/or vendor recommendations
- Data center infrastructure / physical server, network and storage hardware
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Related Field, or equivalent real-world experience
