The Role

We Are Using Odoo Standard Plan And Are Looking To Expand Application Of Odoo, In Particular, Customizing And Integrating Modules To Make Our Dashboard An Accurate Representation Of The Business. Some Items That Are High On Our Prio List

  • Helpdesk and Customer Portal;
  • Material Master Data;
  • Website and Webshop Creation;
  • Recruitment Module refinement .

We need an experienced Odoo consultant to help us understand the possible limitations, as well as how to overcome them, and someone to assist us with setting up, testing and integrating all the needed modules correctly.

This is a project based role paid on an hourly basis.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the business requirements of various departments of the client.
  • Map business requirements with software functionalities and communicate effectively.
  • Provide on-demand consultations and trainings on Odoo tool, including topics like:
  • features of the system (e.g. recruitment, website, webshop etc);
  • challenges and limitations of the system;
  • ways to overcome challenges and limitations of the system;
  • reliable providers of add-ons;
  • various plans of Odoo and difference between them;
  • Odoo data import and export, data integration and communication with other applications (e.g.ERPNext).
  • Perform Configurations and customize modules based on business requirements.
  • If needed, coordinate with Tech team for required Customization.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Odoo.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • If the required modules are implemented, post-implementation support may be needed.

Ideal Profile

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have working knowledge of odoo
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems

Must-haves

  • At least 5 projects on CV/portfolio related to ERP systems, 3 of which related to Odoo
  • Strong knowledge of Odoo modules and functionalities
  • Ability to understand business requirements and processes

Soft Skills

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient English speaker
  • Able to explain complex technical terms in a clear, understandable language
  • Able to research the sources to find answers to our questions

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of other ERP systems and data management tools is a plus
  • Odoo certification is a plus
