Our client is a national Construction Management firm with offices located throughout the United States. The idea candidate will have experience in the Life Science sector, ideally in a leadership position.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Senior Vice President of Business Development to join our client. This individual will be responsible for leading and executing the business development strategies to drive growth and expand our presence in the life science construction market on a national level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive growth and increase market share in the life science construction industry
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders
- Lead and manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver customized solutions that meet the specific needs of clients
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for the company
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and expand our network
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and other business development materials to potential clients
- Monitor and track business development activities and report on progress and results to senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction and/or business development, preferably in the life science construction industry
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing business development strategies that drive growth and increase revenue
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of the life science industry and construction processes
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
