SUMMARY
Provide the expertise andknowledge that support the college curriculum and programs. Establish coursesfollowing accepted higher education standards, teach students using a varietyof effective methodologies and provide engagement and support activities thatencourage student learning. The role of the Instructional Faculty encompassesteaching and learning, academic advising, professional development andinstitutional and community service.

QUALIFICATIONS
To performthis job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essentialduties and responsibilities list above. The qualifications listed below arerepresentative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills and/or abilitiesrequired.
EDUCATION
Must have completed a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Geology, Geography or GIS courses and hold a Master’s degree. Prefer PhD in Geology or field related to GIS (a photocopy of the transcript showing degree conferred must accompany the application).
