Duties & Responsibilities THE HUMAN FACTORS ENGINEER WILL:
• Understands human interfaces with complex systems Experienced with Human Computer or Human Robotic Interfaces.
• Ability to assess human interfaces for usability, cognitive ease, and other important factors Knowledge of best practices in human-centered design.
• Some software experience preferred.
• Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Experience with software verication and validation processes Experience with complex distributed systems.
EXPERIENCE WITH ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:

REQUISITION PREFERENCES:
• Spacecraft Avionics and Software Architecture experience. NASA software and systems development standards.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency maybe a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
